Andy Hanson is a singer/songwriter from Eau Claire, WI, who blends the elements of folk, Americana, and country into what he calls, “real songs for a reeling world.” After spending more than a decade on writing, Hanson has determined the best songs are the real songs. The real ones are the ones which celebrate both life’s highs and lows, the heavy and light, and the fragile and the bombastic. In this middle ground is where one can find Hanson’s songs.
For artistic inspiration, Andy draws from a diverse range of influences, blending the timeless artistry of folk legends from the 1960s with the fresh perspectives of contemporary songwriters. His sound evokes the spirit of Bob Dylan, intertwined with the emotive storytelling of artists like Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors, John Moreland, and Jeffrey Martin.
